SDMX Learning Path

Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) is an initiative to foster standards for the exchange of statistical information, sponsored by BISECBEUROSTATIMFOECDUN World Bank.

Thanks to Xavier Sosnovsky, from the European Central Bank, one from three developer of flex cb, he give me this simple guidance and how to master sdmx for the new comer  :

The official documentation is available at the following location: http://sdmx.org/?page_id=16#package. I would probably start with Appendix 2 (page 140) of the Section 02 document. Section 06 will probably be of help as well, at the beginning, but, in the end, I guess that Section 02 and Section 03A are the most useful. Last but not least, an SDMX tutorial aimed at developers is available here: http://www.ecb.int/stats/services/sdmx/html/tutorial.en.html (honest disclaimer: I wrote it ;-).

Last but not least, help can also be sought on the SDMX users forums: http://www.sdmxusers.org/forum

  1. Currently it appears like Drupal is the top blogging platform available right now.
(from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your blog?
